Pittlesden Cottage – Ideal Location - Tenterden

Although this property is a modern house built in the early 2000 it is due for a make over - the front door of the property has a serious problem with the lock it needs an expert to fix it as you can not get in unless you know the trick, if there is no key in the lock you won’t get in -it need renewing and the entrance in particular needs a good clean the garbage bins all need disinfectant the entrance mat is beyond repair - the garage is very small and when there are two cars not possible to get out of car - microwave needs a replacement. although I note that the state of the bathroom shower has been reported nothing has been done - this in particular is a health and safety problems the bath is an old model has a shower over however, there is no saftey hand rail to get in and out of the bath which is a no no! As this has been reported before I suggest the owner fixes the problem - putting aside the aging property in was clean and tidy but to bring it up to the standard reflected by the price an inspection needs to be carried out.

The property was in a great location and was completely spotless which was appreciated. It was exactly as described. The parking was very tight and was tricky for a Volvo estate car. It was a very hot weekend and there were no fans in the property, which was surprising. The leather sofa & love seat were not very comfortable.

A little gem! Positive: Excellent location.2mins walk from the high street and 5mins walk to steam railway station. Spotlessly clean,comfortable and well equipped. Great shower and kitchen had everything we needed.Good to have a parking space..even if it was a tight squeeze. Negative: Unusually hot weather this weekend...so a fan for the bedrooms would have been nice!
