Loke Cottage – Winchelsea Town – Near Rye

This property is every bit as good as it looks in the pictures and we loved staying here, it was to a high standard all round, very cosy and had everything we needed. As an alternative to Rye, Winchelsea is an excellent alternative if not better option as it’s much more like a tranquil village than a town. As long as you check the opening times the pub, shop and tea room have all you need. The property is located on a short lane but parking on the road at one end was no problem and very close. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Positive: Very beautiful and well equipped apartment. Negative: No air conditioning but windows can be opened on both sides for fresh air.

Very pleasant accommodation tastfully decorated warm.and cosy esp after sightseeing . Negative: Only observation was that an extra mattress topper for day bed would be helpful.

Lovely place. Would definitely return here. Positive: location is perfect. very well furnished. very cosy. Negative: collection of rubbish bag by the front door could have been removed before we arrived.
