SP158 - Camber Sands Holiday Park - Sleeps 8 - 3 Bedrooms - Second Toilet - Decking - Private Parking

This is a purely functional space, generous proportions in the living area but tight in the bedrooms, but we guessed that might be the case. A broken window needs some silicone or similar as the glass is jagged. There is a huge oven and hob but there is no gas so it doesn’t work!!!! Shower good and plenty of hot water. Towel and bedding laundry cleaned. Very small fridge but as you can’t cook is okay.Site is huge and expensive. Activity passes only get you into the pool (which you can’t book) and the restaurants, bars etc after 5.30. All other activities are chargeable, ie. 11 for 1/2 hr in a climbing wall. Beach is good and very close. We were offered activity passes by email and you put cash in the key box in return for the passes, sounded dodgy but did work. If you are beach buddies then great, but if you want to use the site’s activities you need deep pockets. Personally I wouldn’t return, but I don’t mean to reflect badly on the accommodation, as although basic it works for a small family, but ensure you have gas if you want to cook.

Positive: So close to the sea side, really spacious and confy. Honestly better than expected! Negative: I guess just the people around being a little noisy, but you cannot expect anything different in a place like that. I would have appreciated a dispenser of soap or bodywash in the toilet

Really like this site but feel that the entertainment passes that you have to have to allow you to use the facilities ar Positive: The caravan was lovely and clean with nice clean sheets and towels Negative: Unfortunately the main oven did not appear to heat up properly so had to use the grill
