SP90 - Camber Sands Holiday Park - Dog Friendly

Positive: We did enjoy the caravan (everything was great). If we had to point at least one thing, we couldn't play dvds and we noticed that some were missing in the boxes. No biggie as we had great time outdoors. Negative: All was good. Couldn't play dvd, 😆

The above isn’t the caravan owners fault at all.. just would put us off ever going again sadly. Positive: We really liked the actual caravan and the beach itself was lovely. Negative: The actual campsite itself was not for us. It was extremely rough with bouncers on the door at the child’s entertainment. If that wasn’t off putting enough we was woken up at 12am - 3:30am due to a couple in the caravan having a domestic all night long. I have a 17 month old son so it was less than ideal and also found listening to the poor children of the family fighting all night very traumatic.

3 day stay for a family of 5 Positive: Excellent location. Walking distance from the beach. Negative: 3 day stay and paid an additional £125 (£25 pp) for a 7 day pass to access the swimming pool and entertainment bar after 5pm. Why was i sold passes for 7 days, knowing it was only a 3 day trip? Only ever showed the passes for swimming and was never asked to present at the bar, entertainment, arcades etc. Could not pre book swimming because I booked through a third party, so was told to be up early to line up in a queue and once it was full, guests turned away. First attempt failed, but thankfully the second day we got to swim for 1 hour only in a very small, cramped and dirty swimming pool. I would suggest buying packages to do other activites within the resort which is definitely more worth the extra cost. The stay was booked for 3 children and 2 adults and only 1 double bed and 2 singles provided. Hubby had to take the sofa that looked like it had been used as a dog bed. No covers, no sheet and dog hairs everywhere. Most expensive swimming session by far 🙃

Cosy camber sands caravan, we will be returning! Positive: Beds comfortable with bedding and towels provided, very clean and welcoming. Great that a cleaning pack supplied with washing up liquid and cloth etc as most caravans do not have this supplied. Security staff helpful, let us know best takeaways which we were pleased with! Exciting, fun filled adventure week for all the family and doggie Positive: Clean, tidy had everything you needed oven, grill and top hob, all pots and pans, washing machine, nice big fridge. Really happy with it and the wife and kids, and dog loved it ! Negative: Not the property’s fault but the wind can be terrible around the area so little noisey at night only 2 nights out of 7 though.
